Welcoming Spaces: Treating Your LGBTQ+ Patients is a free LGBTQ+ Cultural Humility training designed for anyone who works in health care and specifically for clinicians treating gynecologic cancer in transgender and gender non-conforming patients and their staffs. Developed in collaboration with the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) and the National LGBT Cancer Network, there are eight 45-60 minute modules—a mix of self-study and webinar. CME was made available for all modules.

For this series, ReVITALIZED was provided with basic module and course outlines and accompanying resources including slide decks from existing instructor-led trainings (ILT), articles, and other sources. Using that information we scripted, storyboarded, and developed the series to be conducted fully online with regular reviews by our SMEs and additional advisory councils. As a Level 3 project, we incorporated a significant amount of voiceover, custom animation, interactions, on-screen movement, and downloadable worksheets for the ultimate learner experience. We also counseled our client on pursuing CME accreditation. Each character was created based upon actual patients, Each voiceover was provided by someone with the same characteristics as the actual patient.
